Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) Impact
We have committed to taking steps to integrate into our shopping centers and corporate resources environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and transparency in our governance. We believe being a good steward within these categories will enhance our properties and the communities which the properties serve.
ESG Oversight
Our board of directors oversees our ESG strategy, initiatives, and programs. Within our board of directors, the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee oversees ESG strategy development. We have an internal ESG Committee that includes members from our executive, investor relations, special projects, and information technology teams. The ESG Committee is responsible for implementing our ESG strategy and providing updates to the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
